His three pyramids at Meidum, Dahshur South, and Dahshur North, mark the transition from step pyramids to “true” pyramids. However, archaeologists also study the landscape and subsidiary buildings, at these sites. From hidden chambers, to lost harbours, Sneferu’s monuments are revealing new information about his world.
