Thutmose IV (Part 1).

A new pharaoh arose in 1418 BCE. Almost immediately he took reprisals against enemies, rewarded the god that had helped him into power, and then set off for a war in foreign lands. Thutmose’s first two years were then capped with a magnificent achievement: a lasting peace with the empire of Mitanni
